All Cursed Item Spawn Locations in Phasmophobia

As part of the 0.5.0 update, Phasmophobia has introduced Cursed Possessions. These items affect players' abilities as a sort of tradeoff with things like their sanity. Currently, there are six cursed items that players can find across the maps. We'll go over each of the areas where these types of objects can show up on the map.

All Cursed Items and their uses

Here is a rundown of each of the cursed items and what they do. For a more in-depth look at each one, check the link above. From the Haunted Mirror to the Ouija Board, these are all of the cursed items:

• Haunted Mirror - The Haunted Mirror allows players to easily find the haunted room.
• Music Box - Once activated, this item will temporarily cause the ghosts and ghouls nearby to sing, distracting them from an attack.
• Summoning Circle - Players can use the summoning circle to trap a ghost. However, once freed, the ghost will hunt the player.
• Tarot Cards - In each deck their are 10 cards that each having different uses. These are high-risk items and keep the player from quickly snapping photos for evidence.
  • The Death - Triggers a cursed hunt.
  • The Devil - Triggers a ghost event.
  • The Fool - A troll card that will pretend to be another card and reveal itself afterward. It has no other effects.
  • The Hanged Man - Instantly kills the player.
  • The Hermit - Forces the ghost to be inactive for a short time.
  • The High Preistess - Revives a dead player.
  • The Moon - Removes all of the player's sanity.
  • The Wheel of Fortune - Will add or subtract 25 sanity points.
  • The Sun - Fully restores the player's sanity.
  • The Tower - Triggers a ghost interaction.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - Can be used to directly control and affect the ghost or ghoul hunting the player. However, this will also aggitate them.
• Ouija Board - While already an active part of the game before the update, the Ouija Board is now classified as a haunted object, making it more effective at communing with ghosts. However, players will need to be more careful with closing off their communication afterward.

Cursed Item spawn locations for each map

Most of the items tend to spawn in the same area, making them fairly easy to find within each playthrough. Here are all the currently known spawn locations in the majority of the maps. Marked maps are available, courtesy of the Redditor u/Fantismal.

Bleasdale Farm Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - First-floor office in the far left corner.
• Music Box - First-floor living room.
• Summoning Circle - In the attic.
• Tarot Cards - First-floor office, between windows.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - Second floor in the dead end between the boy's bedroom and the smaller bathroom.
• Ouija Board - In the left corner of the garage.

Edgefield Street House Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - Behind the stairs in the first-floor hallway.
• Music Box - In the corner of the livingroom nearest the doorway.
• Summoning Circle - In the center of the basement.
• Tarot Cards - Behind the stairs, near the Haunted Mirror.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - Near the far wall of the teen boy's room.
• Ouija Board - In the right corner of the utility room.

Grafton Farmhouse Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - Between the living room and foyer near the kitchen door.
• Music Box - In the corner of the foyer near the stairs.
• Summoning Circle - In the far-left corner of storage.
• Tarot Cards - In the center of the dining room.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - Along the left wall of the nursery.
• Ouija Board - In the master bedroom closet.

Ridgeview Road House Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - First floor, in the corner behind the stairs.
• Music Box - In the girl's bedroom near the door.
• Summoning Circle - Behind the stairs in the basement.
• Tarot Cards - In the foyer near the window.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - In the office across from the garage.
• Ouija Board - In the first-floor utility closet.

Tanglewood Street House Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - In the inlet before the Master Bedroom.
• Music Box - Near the left wall of the nursery.
• Summoning Circle - In the basement near the stairs.
• Tarot Cards - In the far-right corner of the living room.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - In the top-right corner of the garage.
• Ouija Board - At the back of the basement.

Willow Street House Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - In the left corner of utility closet in the garage.
• Music Box - In the far-right corner of the living room.
• Summoning Circle - In the basement hallway nearest the right storage room.
• Tarot Cards - Near the middle of the living room.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - In the far-left corner of the boy's bedroom.
• Ouija Board - In the garage utility closet.

Maple Lodge Campsite Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - In the blue tent.
• Music Box - On the porch of the cabin.
• Summoning Circle - In the cabin corner near the stairs.
• Tarot Cards - In front of the white tent.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - Between the food tent and campfire.
• Ouija Board - In the cleaning closet.

Asylum Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - In the lobby near the visitors lounge.
• Music Box - Near the center of the lobby.
• Summoning Circle - In the center of the lobby.
• Tarot Cards - To the right of the summoning circle.
• Tortured Voodoo Doll - To the right of the lobby, before the hall, nearest the nurses office.
• Ouija Board - In front of the dividing wall in the lobby.

Brownstone High School Cursed Item Spawn Locations

• Haunted Mirror - In the lobby, along the library wall.
• Music Box - Just past the mirror in the lobby.
• Summoning Circle - Between the lobby and first-floor main corridor.
• Tarot Cards - In lobby, along the wall nearest the first classroom.
• Ouija Board - Currently unknown, should appear somewhere on the first floor.

As more players play through this update, there will be more information as to whether the rest of the items always spawn in the same areas or not. Currently, this is all of the information available thanks to the players on Reddit. Once all of the maps have been fully explored, the information should be up and available to all players. Until then, these are all of the confirmed locations.
