Will Pokémon Home work with Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?
Nintendo has assured that both Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will have Pokémon Home support. However, the service will not be available upon launch. There’s no announced date on when the games will be included in the service, but they should be available sometime in 2022. The same is true for the upcoming Sinnoh prequel, Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

In the meantime, you can take a look at both version’s Pokémon exclusives to see which ones you can capture and train. Certain competitive Pokémon, like Ludicolo, are exclusive. Both games also get a different set of Legendaries. The Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl National Dex may not include all the 900 or so Pokémon in existence, but it’s still a great opportunity to complete a part of it.
