Icarus features a co-op that lets players work together. Players will be able to join up with their friends and play through Icarus' missions as a team. They will have to overcome a toxic atmosphere, dangerous wildlife, and game-altering weather. Having a team to back you up will surely increase your chances of survival.

Icarus is session-based, and players can join their friend's game or host one of their own for friends to join. They can also access a server browser where they see games that the host has opened up. Other than that, there is no way to play with random match-making.
Regardless of who you play with, working together and communicating is the best way to survive and overcome the challenges Icarus presents. But players can also have chaotic fun and simply mess around in Icarus. Surviving can be tough work, so sometimes it helps to blow off some steam with crazy shenanigans.
