All of this talk about Nintendo's "Cloud-based" Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has many wondering if it extends to the Deluxe Version. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will not be available on Nintendo Switch as a deluxe version.
There are several differences in Nintendo's release of the game. It does not affect gameplay, but those who purchase this version will not receive the deluxe bonuses. The Nintendo version will not extend beyond the base game.

When Guardians of the Galaxy was announced, Nintendo was not one of many people's consoles in mind. Simply having this game on the Switch is a big surprise. Even if you only have the Switch, the base game is great and worth playing—if you have the means.
Players will stream the game rather than store a lot of data on the console. Since it is cloud-based, Nintendo recommends a strong connection when purchasing. Consequently, if you don't have a fast internet connection, we don't recommend buying this version.
