How to beat the Scrybe of Beasts in Inscryption

You again?

After defeating Leshy in the cabin, players may think that they have finished the game. Instead, this only begins Act 2 in Inscryption. Here, players will need to defeat the four Scrybes and take one of their places. One of these is the Scrybe of Beasts who is known other than Leshy.

To battle Leshy, the Scrybe of Beasts, you will first need to complete the camera puzzle and defeat the Prospector, Angler, and Trapper. After you have finished these tasks, Leshy will battle you in his cabin. He has two phases like the other Scrybes and bosses.

The first phase is fairly easy. He will use a mixture of beast cards. You can easily defeat them as most have low health and only have an attack or one or two. Where things are interesting is when one of your cards is killed. Leshy will use his camera to capture aspects of them.

These aspects come into play in phase two. After you beat Leshy's first life, he will replace all of your cards with Deathcards. He pulls the cost, health and attack values, and the sigil from the first three cards of yours that perish. If you do not have enough killed cards to do this, he will fill in the blanks. From there, simply continue attacking Leshy until you have defeated the Scrybe of Beasts.
