How to solve the Candlesticks Puzzle in Inscryption

Some fires are meant to be put out.

Inscryption features a dark atmosphere with horror elements as the player battles through the various card matches. They can collect many different cards to add to their decks. There are also many other things they can find to aid them in their survival. These are usually rewarded for solving puzzles.

One such puzzle is the candlesticks. These are behind the mysterious figure and to the right of the skull and globe. The player will notice that the candlesticks are lit. To solve the puzzle, the players will need to make at least three runs. Each run, they must extinguish one of the candlesticks.

Doing so on three separate runs will upgrade the player's smoke card into a greater smoke card. Players receive a smoke card when a boss fight extinguishes one of their life candles. The greater smoke is a stronger version of this card.

The smoke and greater smoke cards are only usable during the fight you acquire them and cannot be kept in your deck. They can be played for free and sacrificed like a normal card. It may be tempting to play them as soon as the match begins but it may be wiser to wait for a more opportune moment.
