What is the Battery Life on the MacBook M1 Pro and M1 Max?

It's pretty long-lasting!

During Apple's recent event, it introduced new 14" and 16" models of their highly successful line of laptops, the MacBook Pro. In addition to new hardware and features for existing products, Apple revealed that its brand new chips, the M1 Pro and the M1 Max, will be in the new MacBook Pros. These new chips will offer a variety of performance upgrades compared to previous models in terms of CPU and GPU output, memory, and internal storage. But how long will you be able to use this hardware on a single charge?

For the 14" MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, users can expect up to 17 hours of battery life before needing to be charged again. This is a few hours less than what the previous 13" model advertises, but the new model has more powerful specs, therefore requiring more power usage.

For the 16" MacBook Pro with M1 Max, users can expect up to 21 hours of battery life before needing to be charged again. This is the longest-lasting battery Apple has produced for the MacBook Pro series and will keep you going for more than enough time.

Note: Battery life varies greatly depending on the usage and configuration of the product. Having multiple applications and browsing windows open, playing music, and editing a video all at the same time will expedite the depletion of the battery. But even though the battery life varies, these new models still offer plenty of it for daily, disconnected usage.
