Among Us skyrocketed from a mostly unknown game to one of the most popular games in the world seemingly overnight. This betrayal-centered murder-mystery game features a plethora of colors for players to end up as when they join the match. It seems only natural that some of these colors end up being more popular than others.
Recently, the official Among Us Twitter account announced that it has the data for the most popular characters, sorted by color. The official list as of July 2021 is as follows:

- Black
- White
- Rose
- Blue
- Cyan
- Yellow
- Pink
- Purple
- Orange
- Banana
- Coral
- Lime
- Green
- Gray
- Maroon
- Brown
- Tan

Red has more or less been dubbed the mascot of the game, due to the fact that it has been featured on nearly every promo image or trailer made. It's no surprised that it ranked #1, although some might say it is rather sus.
However, players who choose Tan as their favorite character should not be dismayed; word of this character coming in last has encouraged fans of the color to speak out about their preferred character. This might be enough hype to push it out of last place the next time the developers show us the data.
