The cop is too strong to take on in a fight, so you will have to talk your way out of this predicament. Unfortunately, he isn't much of a talker either so you will need to persuade him.

Trying to talk to him while he has you handcuffed will either lead to him telling you to be quiet and if you continue talking, he will strangle you or punch you in the head. To talk to the cop you will need to turn the tables.

You will need to have drugged your wife by giving her a glass of water combined with the sleeping pills found in the medicine cabinet. She will pass out in the bedroom. You will also have had to prep the faulty light switch in the bedroom by cutting it on once and then turning it off. Finally, wait in the closet until the cop enters the bedroom and gets electrocuted.

You will then need to take his belongings and handcuff him with his zip ties. Once the cop wakes up, you can talk to him. You will have limited options that will end with the cop insisting you let him go or he will get angry and try to get up and attack you. To get more information out of the cop, you will need to shoot him in either the arm or the leg. After doing so, the cop will be much more willing to talk.
